Kenneth Billings is a New Orleans based writer, actor and independent producer from southern Indiana by way of central Mississippi. He is an alumnus of Mississippi State University where he studied communication, and political science. He is an award-winning journalist, writer and photographer.

Kenneth grew up in Southern Indiana along the Ohio River in Evansville, Indiana and in 1987 moved to Central Mississippi.

In 2011, Kenneth and his family packed up and moved west to Southern California where he enrolled at Trinity Law School. After living in Oceanside, California for a year, he and his family moved to the San Fernando Valley in 2012, he soon decided to chase his life-long dream of acting and writing for television and film. In 2017, Kenneth returned to his Southern roots and relocated to the New Orleans area.

Prior to moving to Los Angeles, Kenneth had a successful career as a journalist and photographer for multiple newspapers in Mississippi and as a Communications Specialist in the public relations department at Mississippi State University. Along the way, he garnered awards for his writing and photography from the Mississippi Press Association and the College Public Relations Association of Mississippi.

Kenneth most recently performed in the upcoming blockbuster feature film “Deepwater Horizon” from DiBonaventura pictures  and directed by Peter Berg. His other roles include feature film credits in “Happy Hunting”, “Life Raft” and La Femme as well as various short films and web-series’.

Most recently, under the guidance and direction of his friend and mentor Larry Weinberg “Valley Thunder Productions”, an independent production company to nurture and develop various stories written over the years into shorts and feature films.
